Introducing the RACM140E-K Series by Recom: Powerful and Reliable AC-DC Power Supplies

Recom has recently unveiled its innovative series of 140W single-output AC-DC mains power supplies that boast a remarkable capability of handling up to 210W for a brief ten-second burst. This new RACM140E-K series presents a range of options with output voltages of 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V (136.8W rated), or 48V DC, depending on the specific model.

Measuring at 147 x 81.5mm, these power supplies come in two variants - 38mm tall for open-frame versions and 40mm for enclosed designs. It's worth noting that the enclosed versions with 15V and 36V outputs are available through special order. These power supplies are designed to fit the traditional '3 x 5inch' footprints, providing convenience for various installation scenarios.

The RACM140E-K series features standard input and output connectors in the form of pin headers that are compatible with Molex 41695 housings and 2478 crimps. Moreover, the enclosed versions offer a special-order push-fit connection option for added flexibility in deployment.

In terms of safety certifications, these power supplies comply with rigorous standards, including IEC/EN60335-1, IEC/EN62368-1, and, specifically for medical applications, IEC/EN ANSI/AAMI 60601-1 with 2MOPP (means of patient protection). They also ensure low touch current (<100µA, <500µA with single fault) and low leakage current (<300μA), making them ideal for BF (body-floating) applications.
